Anna Burns

Anna Burns (born 1962) is an Irish author. She was born in Belfast and moved to London in 1987. Her first novel, No Bones, is an account of a girl's life growing up in Belfast during the Troubles.AwardsWinner of the 2001 Winifred Holtby Memorial PrizeShortlisted for the 2002 Orange Prize (No Bones)
